It seems like just a minute ago we were sharing our work on "The Cherry Orchard" (It was July!) and now we're in the midst of our marketing "deluge" for the upcoming mega event "Idaspe" with collaborating entities Quantum Theatre and Chatham Baroque, supported by the The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust This one is literally years in the making/planning and is finally here!

BOOM is once again thrilled and honored to be the agency of record for Quantum Theatre and to serve as media partners for all promotional materials that are out there supporting this production.

Quantum Theatre , in collaboration with Chatham Baroque presents a legendary baroque opera, reimagined.

Join us at the Byham Theater for this world premiere experience, lasting just nine days from October 7-15 with a remarkable assembly of international talent.

Directed by Clare van Kampen. Conducted by Daniel Nesta Curtis. Choreography by Antonia Franceschi. Starring Vivica Genaux and John Holiday.

The number of Pennsylvania 6th graders that needed medical attention for attempted suicide DOUBLED in 2021. Read that again - SIXTH GRADE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE RATES DOUBLED BETWEEN 2019 AND 2021.

The toll that COVID-19, social anxiety, remote learning and other unique factors have taken on our youth in the past two years is significant and often devastatingly difficult to prevent.

Additionally, black overdose fatalities in PA have risen two times as high as white fatalities in the past two years.

BOOM is proud to be working on these important initiatives, and helping to create collections of resources for parents struggling with youth mental health and substance abuse issues. But every parent, caregiver, friend, influencer and family member needs to do their part.

The minimum effort you can make is to take a minute to learn more about how language and attitudes can reinforce stigma, how stigma leads to feelings of shame, loneliness and isolation, and how just being aware of risk and protective factors is a step in the right direction.

It starts with all of us.
